About ISSPD

The purpose of the International Society for the Studies of Personality Disorders is to establish an international link between people around the world involved in the studies of personality disorders.

The Society aims at stimulating and improving collaboration in research and education, and in the exchange of clinical experience in the field of personality disorders.

Two activities - the Journal of Personality Disorders and the ISSPD International Congresses - serve to promote international collaboration and communication of research that will advance the understanding, and the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders.

In addition Regional events in both the North American, The Latin American and the European Regions, and several National Societies, such as Spain and Denmark, organize their own congresses and symposia.
